A Bit about Me
I was born and raised in the small town of Mayodan, North Carolina. My parents, older brother, and extended family still live there. When I moved to State College to start my Ph.D., I met my husband Brian. We were married in December 2006! Brian is a landscaper for Penn State and an avid football fan. I fill my spare time with reading for pleasure (mostly fiction), talking about politics, exercising through yoga or long walks, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, and traveling.
